FREE CAMPING AVAILABLE

Free tent or RV camping for climbers/volunteers

Climber registration opened on December 1, 2025 with 40 limited spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Through December 31, 2025, registration, and the Waitlist, will be open to only Arizona residents. 

On January 1, 2026, if spots remain, out-of-state climbers will be eligible to register; or sign up for the Waitlist if spots fill up.

  • If all climber participant spots are taken, we encourage you to sign up for the Waitlist.  There is the possibility that one or more registrants may cancel.  ACTC Admin will notify individuals on the waitlist regarding their place on the list, and if/when a spot opens up.
  • Beginning January 1, 2026, if all climber participant spots are taken, Out-of state climbers may sign up for the Waitlist. 
  • To secure a spot, the registration fee must be paid at the time of registration.
  • Arizona residents must provide a valid Arizona ID at the time of registration.



DECEMBER 2025 - Arizona Residents only (must show proof of residency)

  • ACTC Member:  $250

  • Non-ACTC Member:  $275


OPEN REGISTRATION for Arizona & Out of State Residents, January 1, 2026

  • ACTC Member (Arizona or non-Arizona resident): $300

  • Non-ACTC Member (Arizona or non-Arizona resident): $330

  • Open to non-Arizona residents, a waitlist will be used if needed.

*Optional extra meals for family members are available for purchase 
**To be eligible to receive the Participant "Swag" Bag, competitors are required to participate.


    COMPETITION FORMAT

    • Climbers will compete in teams of 8, randomly selected through a lottery
    • Each team will be provided a schedule, determining their teams event running order
    • Teams will complete in three climbing events on competition day one
    • The overall top 3 Arizona climbers will compete in the Master Climb
    • Only climbers who are Arizona residents are allowed to compete in the Master Climb
    • The winner of the Master Climb will be crowned Arizona Tree Climbing Champion
    • The Tree Climbing Champion will receive a paid entry into the WCISA Tree Climbing Championship


      CLIMBER ACCEPTANCE & REGISTRATION

      • Climber registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis
      • Early bird registrations, December 1 to December 31, 2025, will be for Arizona residents ONLY
      • Up to 40 climbers will be accepted to compete; a waitlist will be used, if needed
      • Open registration will begin January 1, 2026, open to non-Arizona residents as well as Arizona residents
      • Accepted Climbers will need to submit a completed, CLIMBER PACKET by March 1, 2026
      • A CLIMBER PACKET consists of the following:
        • Completed Online Registration form (all fields / questions answered)
        • Full Registration Payment
        • Signed Waiver 
        • Gear Check Form
        • Other Necessary Information Requests from ACTC
      • If an accepted climber does not submit the required payment and completed Climber Packet by March 1, 2026, the climber registration will be cancelled, and the open spot will then be offered to the next person on the waitlist


        EVENT REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

        • SUBSTITUTIONS / REPLACEMENTS are NOT allowed
        • You may NOT substitute another climber for your cancelled spot
        • Refund requests for Climber Registration fees must be submitted in writing via email or mail before March 6, 2026 to receive a refund
