For over 30 years the Arizona Community Tree council has been striving to make Arizona a greener and healthier place for all.

Healthier trees improve air and water quality, combat climate change through carbon sequestration, help regulate local temperatures and reduce energy costs, mitigate floods, soil erosion and create an environment for residents that improves physical and mental health outcomes.

The Arizona Community Tree Council believes in providing these benefits through a combination of education and direct action. Our programs include:

·         Accessible education for tree care professionals, individuals, residents and homeowners

·         Workforce development to grow and engage the future generations

·         Tree plantings and ongoing care

·         Tree equity program such as our “Women in Arboriculture” and tribal outreach initiatives

·         Service days, providing no cost tree care for economically disadvantaged communities

Our ability to create a greener and healthier Arizona is dependent on the efforts of the members, individuals, groups, and businesses that support our mission and the strategic partnerships we have forged that include state and tribal governments, residential communities, and other non-profits.

Together we have built a group of dedicated volunteers and tree lovers and activists that work each day to create a brighter future for Arizonians by caring for, supporting and nurturing the trees that benefit everyone.
