Summer 2016 Smartscape 101 


The University of Arizona, Maricopa County Cooperative Extension is accepting registrations for the summer 2016 Smartscape 101 series! 


When:  Mondays and Wednesdays from August 7 – 30 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm 


Where: Maricopa County Cooperative Extension office: 4341 East Broadway Road Phoenix, AZ 85040.

Smartscape is a comprehensive, research‐based professional training program specifically designed to educate landscape professionals on the fundamentals of designing, installing, irrigating, and maintaining attractive, water-efficient landscapes. This Smartscape course delivers 20 hours of high-quality education on the best irrigation and horticultural practices for the desert southwest. For $95, students receive a Smartscape manual with valuable information and materials, instruction from experts in the green industry, the opportunity to get International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) continuing education units,Arizona chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects (AzASLA) continuing education units, and complimentary snacks.Graduates of the course receive a certificate of completion from the University of Arizona and a chance to market themselves as a Smartscape professional by listing their contact information in the Smartscape Online Directory at www.smartscape.org/directory
