We provide education for tree workers and professionals as well as home owners and people of all ages who want to learn how to plant and care for trees.  Our education programs provide the required continuing education units (CEUs) needed for tree professionals in the green industry and are also open to anyone who wants to become certified or just know more about trees. Our complete education calendar is listed below.

Our events and resources include:

Annual Conference - Certified Arborists and other tree professionals network and learn in a one day event focused on issues and trends in the tree-care profession.  This program typically provides between up to 6 CEUs.

Pest Management Workshop - A one day program focused on the issues of managing pest threats to tree health.  This program typically follows the annual conference and provides 4 to 6 CEUs.

Certified Arborist Training - The Certified Arborist Training Course is a series of classes designed to prepare students to take the ISA Certified Arborist exam. It is also an excellent introduction to the field of arboriculture, as well as a great review for industry professions. The course is open to all students. CEU's are offered for Certified Arborists. Classes cover all chapters in the ISA Arborists' Certification Study Guide.

Safety Classes and Tree Climbing Techniques - Some of our most popular events.  The safety classes provide CEUs for professionals and take place across the state.  Our annual Tree Climbing Championship is a festival experience attended by anyone who wants to watch highly trained aerial tree professionals utilize rope skills to ascend amazing trees!  Free to attend and exciting!

Homeowners Workshops - Focused on the home owner with existing trees or plans to plant new trees, this program provides essential information for taking care of trees and selecting new trees for maximum shade and property value.

Firewise Programs - Education for home owners on how to prepare and maintain their landscape to reduce the threat of wild fire damaging or destroying their home. Not just for rural locations, any property owner with landscape can benefit from these free programs.

School and Community Programs - Education for anyone about the value of trees to the environment and how to be stewards for the care of trees in our communities.  Contact us about bringing a Tree Education program to your group.
